University Physician-INR (multiple positions available)
Provide quality medical care to students, faculty, and staff of Kent State University, consistent with the university’s mission, vision, and values. Reports to Chief University Physician.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Provide direct primary care and minor urgent care to Kent State students, faculty, and staff.Provide collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, pharmacists, registered nurses, and case manager.Provide care to a diverse population, including international students and LGBTQ individuals.Provide care for mental health diagnoses, including attention deficit disorders, depression, and anxiety.Perform minor surgical procedures, including sutures, wart removal, skin biopsies, and joint injections.Provide occupational health services, including evaluation of workplace injuries and related worker’s compensation documentation.May provide women’s healthcare in the university’s dedicated Women's Health Center.Participate in university wellness initiatives.Maintain patient records using an electronic medical record.Collaborate with and supervise nurse practitioners.May serve as preceptor for medical students and nurse practitioner students.May supervise assigned administrative, professional, student, and temporary employees.
Provide after hours physician on-call services.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Additional Examples of Duties – if applicable:
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy. Completion of an accredited residency program. Must be able to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
State of Ohio Medical License or eligibility. Current board certification or board eligibility in a related specialty, including but not limited to family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or adolescent medicine.

PART TIME INTERMITTENT POSITION- 1-3 DAYS PER WEEK DURING THE SEMESTER
