Provide mental health care and education to students and the university community. Reports to Chief Psychologist or designated supervisor.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Provide psychological assessments and recommendations for treatment.Provide consultation to faculty and staff to manage psychological emergencies and disruptive behavior.Provide individual, group, family, and couple psychotherapy.Develop and conduct mental health programming to educate students and the university community.Maintain client records.May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.Perform related duties as assigned.
Additional Examples of Duties – if applicable:
Master's degree in social work or counseling. Three months to one year of experience in clinical counseling.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)Healthcare Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Verbal and written communications and interpersonal skillsPersonal computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
Work nontraditional hours as needed, including evenings and weekends

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. May work varied hours to include evenings during peak periods. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
Must pass a security check.
