Basic Function:

Kent State University’s Department of Anthropology invites applications for a full-time, Non-tenure track position for an archaeology specialist.

Examples of Duties:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching experience in archaeology and will contribute to the teaching of introductory classes across anthropology’s sub-disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or be A.B.D. at the time of hire.  This position is available at the assistant professor rank.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

 Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
