To direct operational, administrative, and financial activities of one or more enrollment management or student services area(s) as instructed by the designated supervisor.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Direct all operational, administrative, and financial activities of one or more areas within enrollment management and/or student services.Supervise, train, and develop enrollment management and/or student services staff within assigned area(s).Establish goals and strategies for achieving and evaluating objectives including; reviewing trends related to enrollment management, and/or student services. Consult and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding operational, administrative, and financial activities within their assigned area/s.Problem solve and assist in mediation of student issues.Oversee the maintenance of student records (e.g. change of program, exceptions, etc.).Oversee end of term processes as they relate to assigned area/s (e.g. graduation audits, clearance processes, and probation and dismissal, etc.).Provide program budget support/ input to appropriate personnel.Develop handbooks and procedural manuals for administration of assigned area/s.Develop/revise unit specific policies and procedures for assigned areas.Serve as liaison to various constituent groups and on various university committees.Work with University Advising and other advising units as needed to advance advising objectives.Perform related duties as assigned.
Additional Examples of Duties – if applicable:
Master's degree in Education, Student Personnel, or relevant field. Four years experience in higher education administration in a student services department (i.e. enrollment management, advising, student financial aid, admissions).
Personal computer applications (i.e. MS Office Suite) with advanced proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheet, email and online calendaring programsLocal, state, and federal laws and regulations related to enrollment management, student services (e.g. FERPA)
Searching and retrieving information*
Provide leadership and to direct others; including the supervision of students (graduate & undergraduate)/projects *Communicate effectively with all components of the university and external constituents Design, plan, and implement programs *Budget and provide strategic planningMaintain a collegial and constructive environment based on open communication and positive team buildingWork with various enrollment management, student service, advising, and related technologiesOperate effectively in a multi-campus work environment

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work ?exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel off campus occasionally.
Typically 8am-5pm; schedule may vary to meet departmental needs.
