  Geauga Campus in Burton- with occasional travel to the Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg

Basic Function:

 Assist in the planning and development of campus-wide initiatives through the use of data analytics for one or more Kent State Regional Campuses. Initiatives may include, but not be limited to, recruitment, enrollment, retention, persistence, student success, and degree completion. Oversee specific areas and functions, including planning, development, staff supervision, and oversight of daily operations for campus-wide initiatives. Reports to Dean and Chief Administrative Officer, Kent State University at Regional Campus.

Support broad enrollment management initiatives through effective project management and data-driven planning.

Execute system-based solutions to promote strategic enrollment management through technology solutions.

Develop and maintain a robust system of long-term planning and organization rooted in measuring and tracking key performance indicators; utilize data where appropriate to implement measurable actions and outcomes.

Promote the use of six sigma principles to help foster quality management activities within the Office of Enrollment Management.

Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Research to monitor and measure key performance indicators and both internal and external campus metrics.

Provide meaningful contributions to campus leadership and share in the mission and vision plan of the institution.

Promote collaboration and inclusion amongst all university partners.

Direct research activities necessary for improving enrollment and support programs and services.

Develop co-curricular and extra-curricular programming to foster student retention.

Assist departments with data collection, reporting, and assessment.

Develop best practices for quality management across the campus.

Promote grantsmanship and assist personnel in applying for funding opportunities aimed at optimizing student success.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
Five years of experience in higher education.
Progressively responsible experience in grant writing and budget management.

License/Certification:

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

Experience in student success leadership and knowledge of strategies to improve student persistence and retention through effective programming, assessment, and community partnership development.
Experience in managing institutional interventions related to degree completion.
Experience working with support services and co-curricular units.
Expertise in MS Excel, data analytics, and business intelligence applications.

Working Schedule:

  Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 PM, some evenings and weekends may be required
